MANSA MEETS CHAIRMAN MbPT

The President and Members of the new Executive Committee of MANSA met Mr. Rajeev Gupta, IRSME, Chairman MbPT on 10th December 2012 in his Chamber.

During the introductory discussions, MANSA Members expressed their concerns about the on-going operations of slow deepening and dredging of berths / harbour etc., release of long standing containers, disposal or shifting of Custom's detained imported project cargo from within Dock premises, erection of storage facilities for smooth operations of heavy pulses' traffic arriving at Port, the progress of building of OCT, the future land use plan of vast vacant area of Mumbai Port etc.

The Chairman assured that all efforts are being made so as to remedy all impediments and to ensure smooth operations inspite of some procedural / legal road blocks that might crop up during the course of remedial actions.

The Executive Committee of MANSA introduced themselves to the Hon. Chairman, wishing him well with a flower bouquet.
